Have you tried cleaning the printer head? The cartridge might have dried ink on it so can't get the ink through. The link below explains about it.

Possible you have a clog... you could get it out if you have the right tools. Otherwise you might damage the printhead. Most modern printers come with a maintenance tool... try and run that.

did you remove the little tab before you installed it? if so try removing it and reinstalling it. make sure you feel it click in
Did you take the little plastic tape bit off the cartridge?

How can i check my printer ink levels, i have a HP printer.?
Click on the ';Start'; menu button which is located on bottom left hand corner of your screen. Click on the control panel icon.
Look for the printer/fax icon in the control panel window. Double click on the printer icon.
Find the icon for your printer in the opened window and right click on the icon. Now click on the ';Preferences'; option.
Look for the menu box pop up with tabs near the top of the box. Click on the ';Services'; tab.
Click on ';Service this device.'; You will find the button on the Services menu that you just activated.
Click on the estimated ink level tab and a graphic will appear indicating how much ink is left in the cartridge
PLEASE NOTE: Your printer needs to be connected to your computer, plugged in and switched on

Do you have ';HP Solution Center';,it should have loaded if you installed your printer from a CD .If you do go to settings and click it, then select ';print settings/printer toolbox.At the top of the page RH side, 2nd line down you will see estimated ink levels, click on this and provided your printer is switched on and connected to your computer it will display ink levels
You should get a message pop up on your screen when you're printing to remind you that the ink is getting low.It will tell you if it's the coloured or black that needs replacing.

Ive bought the the proper photo ink 2 print some pics that is inserted where the black ink normally go's. from memory you need to install both color and photo cartridge as most printers use both to maximize reproduction, check your manual for a definite answer or check your printers website under support for general descriptions and applications on your product

If Cartridge is refilled two three times then sometimes it gives this kind of problem best option is to change another cartridge and check it thats the easy way i think, and remember HP will not give serivece if Cartridge is refilled they wont recommend for this, even if u wana log a call to HP then be sure that u r using Orginal Cartridge and refilled one

or printer levels
when there is nothing actually wrong with the damn thing
If is refilled, it isn't going to work anyway. The smart chip tells the printer it is empty and you cannot reset the chip. If it is factory new and OEM, it is likely defective or not seated properly.

I cant understand your question but you can get cartridges for the NX200 which hold triple the ink of genuine epson.
They're the same ones I use in my Workforce 500 (t069) and they hold 20 ml where genuine epson only has 7. I buy 11 for $30, then turn in the empties to get $30 back. For more info see http://www.ccs-digital.com/freeink.asp
