HP D5160 PHOTOSMART INKJET PRINTER stopped working immediately after installing new generic print ink?

My computer and printer acts like it is ready and then it just sets there. I have heard that Epson may have done something so I can't use the ink that is not theirs. Is there anything I can do?HP D5160 PHOTOSMART INKJET PRINTER stopped working immediately after installing new generic print ink?
With your printer generic ink should not be causing this issue.





If you have a flashing amber light, then the cartridge is not recognising, in which case exhange it.





However with a printer that is just sitting there, with no error warning after printing has a communication problem.





Open your HP toolbox software and see if you can send a test page through.





IF that fails you will want to of course check all your connections,
